World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine

Students choose to go without food for 30 hours to raise money and awareness for those who go hungry in other parts of the world. In the overnight event, they learn what it is like to survive war, disease and famine. The following day they serve food to the homeless before breaking their fast.

World AIDS Day

Our church participates in a day of awareness and offerings for those suffering from AIDS and HIV along with other churches and organizations worldwide. This event is always held on December 1.

Relay for Life

A walk to support cancer survivors and raise money through the American Cancer Society. Usually the end of April.

National Day of Prayer

Our church participates with other faith groups and the City of Escondido in a prayer event at City Hall on the designated Day of Prayer in May each year.

Each spring our church joins with other churches and agencies in a walk to raise awareness and needed funds for those suffering from hunger and poverty world-wide. We walk a simple two-mile route through the heart of Escondido providing information about our cause to our neighbors along the way.
